Local Apparatus
The Cincinnati Fire Museum owns this 48 Mack which was in service with Woodlawn, OH Fire Department.
Engine 31 of the Union Township Fire Department is first due at the Holiday Inn Eastgate which is the headquarters hotel for the 2006 SPAAMFAA Winter Convention. This 1998 Pierce Quantum has a patriotic theme on the grill to commemorate the tragedy of September 11, 2001.
Delivered in 1945, this Seagrave pumper has been converted into a public relations vehicle for the Milford Fire Department. Children (and a few grownups too!) can sit in benches located in the hose bed.
From it's former glory to this sad setting, former Cincinnati Fire Department Engine 25 is now deteriorating in this salvage yard on U.S. 50 east of Milford, just a few miles from the location of the 2006 Winter Convention. A pair of 1977 Seagrave tillered aerials were also at this same location.
This 1951 Ford with a 500-gpm pump served the Withamsville Fire Department and is shown in front of the W.F.D. station on Ohio Pike. This was one of the Oren rigs sold in the Cincinnati area during the 1950's by Stan "Fog Nozzle" Sebohm. The Withamsville and North Union Fire Departments merged to form the Union Township F.D. of Clermont County, Ohio. Ed Effron photo.
This 1956 Ahrens-Fox pumper served the Northern Hills Fire Department in suburban Cincinnati and was the last piece of apparatus constructed prior to the firms departure from the fire apparatus business. This historic engine is now displayed at the Cincinnati Fire Museum. Carrying serial #2006, the model ECB apparatus was equipped with a 750-gpm pump and a 400 gallon tank. Steve Hagy photo.
