A reminder that MG Club elections will be held at the December 2008 meeting. Nominations are due at the October meeting. Chip Lytle hosted an open house and picnic at his property in Blueball (Middletown, OH) on September 6, 2008. Guests enjoyed a cookout and a wide variety of fire apparatus on display. Thanks for the great event Chip!
Thanks to those who attended the 2008 9-11 Memorial motorcycle Ride to benefit the Cincinnati Fire Museum. Jeff and Nick Placke’s American La-France escorted the kick-off on Court Street. Apparatus owned by Richard Weigel, Mark Radtke and the Placke’s were displayed at the Harley Davidson Dealership at the finish line. Another great event!

Wanted:
14" flat front pole mounted spotlight for a 1936 Ford pumper. Contact Dick Koeniger at dkoeniger@seidata.com.
Cincinnati received three Ahrens-Fox 750-gpm pumpers in 1938. The trio had the unique distinction of being equipped with Seagrave pumps, the only A-F rigs to do so. They were assigned to Engines 37, 49, and 38. Serial #9056 (Engine 37 - Engine 7) is now owned by Steve Dalpe of Houston, Texas who is restoring the rig. If you have any photos of these or other Cincinnati apparatus, please let me know. I may be interested in acquiring a digital copy of your picture. Contact: Steve Hagy at stemel@fuse.net.
My husband is restoring a 1929 (rebuilt in 1935) Stutz fire
engine that was used in Arnold, Pennsylvania. I would like
the patches, badges or whatever decorations would be seen
on a uniform for a chief in that town of that era. Any
information you can provide will be appreciated. Thanks.
