March 02, 2007 - I am restoring the 1st fire truck our department purchased in 1951. I have located all the parts that have been lost over the last 55 years except for three Hardie nozzle brackets (see attached picture). Is there any chance you could share my search request with you members to assist us with the parts? We are willing to purchase the brackets once they can be located. We have been searching locally for several years without luck. Here is the link to our fire truck web site: http://rides.webshots.com/album/483681592tjBocg. Thank you for your time with this important matter. Sincerely, Bill Bailey ThaliaVolunteerFD@cox.net, TVFD 407 Thalia Road Virginia Beach, Va. 23452-1835,Phone: 757-288-5761

MACK motor wanted: I am looking for a ENF510A motor in running condition that I can put into my chassis. I would prefer a running motor but will consider one that is not running if it has minor problems and can be repaired quickly. I will also consider other Mack motors such as a 707 or END510 if it is running and it only needs to be installed. Will pay cash and can pick up in the Eastern US, I can also make arrangements to have it picked up if it to far for me to drive. Contact: David at latigo@bellsouth.net. (3/29/2007)

For Sale:

Vintage Ahrens Fox Fenders for sale: Set of front and rear fenders off a late 1920's, 1930's vintage Ahrens Fox apparatus. I do not know what type or pumper or truck they came off of. They are in very good to excellent condition, metal-wise considering their age. If interested, contact me at engine4@voyager.net. I will send pictures. Will consider $800 for all. Fenders must be picked-up in Battle Creek, Michigan. I will not ship. Contact: Warren D. Lun engine4@voyager.net.(posted: May 11, 2007)
