Club News:

The next Miles Greenwood meeting will be held Tuesday January 16, at 7:30pm. We will meet at the Wyoming Ohio Fire Station, 600 Grove Avenue near Wyoming Avenue. Parking is across the street in the public arts lot. Use the front public entrance to the Safety Service Building.


Club elections were held at the December meeting. The results were as follows: President: Jeff Placke, Vice President: John Stelter, Treasurer: Bill Strite, Secretary, David Jones. New trustees were also elected as follows: Bonnie Manning, Nick Placke, and Paul Tieman. Congratulations to all who participated!


Club dues were due in December. If you have not already done so, please mail in a completed membership form and check to Bill Strite.


Larry McCartt has printed membership certificates for distribution to new members of the club. Thanks Larry!


Mark Hetzel is taking table reservations for the flea market to be held on March 10th at The Milford Community Firefighters Bingo Hall. Volunteers are needed to help work the front door and be on the food committee. Carl Stelter & his wife along with Bonnie Manning have volunteered to help with the front door. Bonnie is also helping with the raffle. Larry McCartt, Chip Lytle, Mat Trushell, and John Stelter have volunteered to help with food service. If you would like to help out during this event, please contact us!

A motion was passed for the Miles Greenwood Society to sponsor the fire apparatus muster to be held at the Child Wellness Fair at Coney Island June 16 & 17. The muster will include a static display of fire apparatus and pumping at Lake Como! Mark your calendars now to attend.
